We're looking for feedback from all users of Hailey Park, to find out whether the new signage within the park (see right) is effective in informing users of the recently launched shared path ‘code of conduct.’
Please take the time to fill in the survey below to help us ensure we are providing a fun and safe environment in Hailey Park for everyone. Hailey Park 'Code of Conduct'
A Cardiff Council Spokesperson, said: "The Council, in partnership with the Friends of Hailey Park, are developing a code of conduct for all users on the Taff Trail in Hailey Park. The code of conduct has been trialling for approximately two years."
The code of conduct details the importance of respect of all users by cycling slow, being heard, controlling your dog and keeping left and passing right. "To promote the code there is signage in the park making people aware of the code and it is also displayed on the Friends of Hailey Park website. Leaflets and posters have also been distributed within the local area. "The Council is currently running a survey in Hailey Park to ask users for feedback on final design of the signage. Following its completion in December 2011, permanent signage will be installed in Hailey Park." Below you can download a copy of the Hailey Park Code of Conduct in English and Welsh.
