We're a group of park users and local residents, dedicated to improving Hailey Park in Llandaff North, Cardiff (CF14).
We formed in May 2007 and have over 100 members who support our work via membership, or performing practical tasks such as being a committee member, attending meetings, events, or workdays ... MORE


_Our group wouldn't be able to function as well as it does without the help of the Parks Department at Cardiff Council, in particular, ranger Gareth Stamp.

Now is the time
Its that time of year. We're hoping to renew everyone's membership and find new members (download form HERE). It's still only £3 to join. New to this year's form is the donation box. We've added this to raise much needed funds for the community contribution to the play regeneration scheme ... MORE

Voluntary workday. All welcome. Meet in car park 12.45-1pm. We'll be clearing up after last weeks storm when a massive tree fell on to the Taff Trail.

FoHP are applying for a Green Flag Community Award for their work in the meadow area of the park.

Cardiff Walking for Health are running a Walk Leader training day for anyone interested.

Vacancies
We're on the lookout for anyone who is good at finding suitable grants and filling in the forms.
In addition, we need to fundraise this year to match-fund money (about £4000) from the community to help improve the play areas on the park and a new building to replace the bowls pavillion - this can come from fundraising activities, match funding form people's workplaces, or local businesses.
