There have been quite a few things happening on the park over the past 12 months, most thankfully have been good as we see the park flourish with an increase in biodiversity.
Areas of concern though have been the sewage pumping station proposal (see below and see HERE for October 2022 updates), particularly as more questions have been raised by the community as time has gone on. [Outline planning application for this is at planning application reference 21/02608/MNR HERE.]
The other troubling item was the ad placed in the Western Mail on the Jubilee long weekend, which stated over 59 000 square metres of parkland were being disposed of by the council. It transpired that, after investigation, the ad in the newspaper gave the incorrect amount of land, and it should have read approximately 1500 square metres. That said, as the ad was a legal document we are still waiting for the retraction in the same newspaper.
Our local councillors have published an update (images below) on their Facebook page. They are still working on this and there will be future updates; however, please now see the statement below for 30/06/2022.

Planning committee visit, June 2022
Regarding the sewage pumping station, there was a good turnout for the planning committee visit on Monday 27 June 2022. Again many questions were raised that could not be answered without further investigation and the community will be updated with the answers once our local councillors receive them. So much so, the planning application has now been deferred until after the summer to take stock of the questions and community concerns.
